New Deputy Minister 2 of Agriculture Subscribes to Oath of Office at State House

State House, Freetown, Tuesday 26 November 2019 – The new Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Forestry 2, Dr Abu Bakarr Karim, has subscribed to the Oath of Office before His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio in accordance with Section 57 of the 1991 Constitution of Sierra Leone.

The President congratulated him and assured of his support. He reminded him that the task ahead would be difficult but that he had chosen him to help deal with the challenges.

On his part, Dr Karim thanked the President for the honour and assured that he would serve and execute his new role in the best interest of the nation. He also promised that he would be able to face the challenges ahead and deliver on the mandate of the New Direction.
