Gbamanja Commission of Enquiry Presents Report to President Koroma
The Gbamanja Commission of Enquiry yesterday presented its report to President Ernest Bai Koroma at State House. Introducing the Commission to the President, Education Minister Minkailu Bah recalled that it was set up to look into the poor performance of students in the 2008 BECE and WASSCE examinations, with clear terms of reference and to ascertain the impact of the 6-3-3-4 system on educational output generally.

President Koroma Inspects Medical Stores
6-1President Ernest Bai Koroma, in keeping with his promise to inspect all medical stores across the country before April 27th 2010 (the date that government has set for the abolition of user fees in all hospitals/health centres for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers across Sierra Leone), yesterday 8th June 2010 made his first inspection at the Medical Stores at New England in Freetown.

UN Lauds President Koroma for Implementing the Agenda for Change
5-5The United Nations Peace Building Commission has yesterday 8th March 2010 lauded President Ernest Bai Koroma for the achievements made by his government in governance in a very short time since he assumed office. Making a statement at State House on a courtesy call on the President, the Executive Representative of the United Nations Secretary General, Michael Schulenburg, thanked President Koroma for the progress made under the 'Agenda for Change', thus registering the total commitment and support of the UN Peace Building Commission to Sierra Leone and to the 'Agenda for Change'.

Mini Cabinet Reshuffle – Fisheries & Marine Resources Minister Relieved of Her Duties
5-4The general public is hereby informed that Haja Afsatu Kabba, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources and Paul Sandi, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources were Monday 15th March 2010 charged to court in Freetown by the Anti-Corruption Commission.

While she is standing trial, Haja Afsatu Kabba has been relieved of her duties as Minister by His Excellency The President.

In the case of Paul Sandi, he is to be interdicted from the Civil Service with immediate effect.
