|President Koroma hosts FBC Bi-Centenary Committee|

The FBC Bi-centenary committee paid a courtesy call on President Dr Ernest Bai Koroma this morning (Wednesday February 15, 2017) at State House in Freetown.
According to Professor Sahr Aiah Gbamanja who led the delegation, President Koroma is the most distinguished Alumni of FBC and the first alumni to become President of the Republic of Sierra Leone. He invited the president to hoist the flag of the college to commence the 190 year celebrations as well as cut the tape to the newly constructed amphitheatre which has been expanded/developed to three storey height.
He also praised President Koroma for what he described as exemplary behaviour towards his alma mater and thanked him for his role in making the BADEA project to refurbish the college a reality.
President Koroma thanked the delegation for updating him on preparations for the 190 year celebrations which he said, is geared towards restoring the lost image of the institution. The president stated that the celebrations will serve as a wakeup call for all alumni of FBC. He assured the delegation of his continuous support to the college
